Your right to cancel (online and phone orders)
You can cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason.

  • Goods (parts & accessories): the 14 days start the day after you receive them.
  • Cherished registrations: the 14 days start the day after your order is accepted.

To cancel, tell us clearly by email, phone or post (details above). You can use the form at the end of this page, but you don’t have to.

When the right to cancel does not apply

  • Registrations already transferred: if you ask us to start the transfer within the 14 days, you lose the right to cancel once the registration has been assigned to your vehicle or a certificate has been issued in your name. You confirm this when you place your order.
  • If you cancel before the transfer is complete: you will get a refund. We may deduct the fees we have already paid to the DVLA on your behalf, including the £80 Registration/Transfer fee, if it has already been used.
  • Acrylic number plates: these are made up to your registration, so they cannot be cancelled once made, unless they are faulty.

Returning goods

  • Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling, to William Logan Cars, 28-30 Hillhead Road, Ballyclare BT39 9DS.
  • You pay the cost of returning them, unless they are faulty or we sent the wrong item.
  • Please return items unused and in their original packaging. We may reduce the refund if they have been handled more than you would need to check them in a shop.

Your refund

  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing us proof that you sent them, whichever is sooner.
  • For registrations, we refund within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling.
  • The refund includes the original standard delivery charge and goes back to the payment method you used.
  • If you paid with Klarna, the refund goes back to Klarna, which updates your payment plan.

Faulty or incorrect items
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy. For goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose:

  • Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject them for a full refund.
  • After that, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If that doesn’t work, you can have a price reduction or a refund.
  • Contact us first and we will arrange the return at our cost.

Showroom purchases: items bought in person in our showroom do not carry the 14-day right to cancel. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
